SALEM wishes "Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year"!

This year we have received a lot of Christmas greetings from our SALEM facilities. We were very happy about this and would like to share this joy with you.

The fact that so many people are able to enjoy happy holidays at SALEM, is also thanks to your support. Therefore, at the end of the year, we would like to thank you once again from the bottom of our hearts!

In SALEM-Uganda, staff members and our volunteers Linda and Mathilda baked Christmas biscuits with the children of the children's village. Everyone was enthusiastic and it goes without saying that homemade biscuits are the best. The children are already looking forward to the holidays.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our volunteers! Through their photos and reports, they let us participate in the life of the people in SALEM-Uganda up close.

In SALEM-Russia, the children baked biscuits together with project leader Anna Engel. Despite the difficult times, we would like to ensure peaceful and contemplative Advent days for our children there as well.

Especially children from financially less well-off families need our help. We do not want to turn our backs on them.

Good news at the end of the year:

Little Denis lives in the children's home in SALEM-Uganda and had an extreme leg deformity. This could be corrected this year through two operations, which were financed with the help of donations. His greatest gift this year is that he can now keep up with the other children without pain. We are all very happy about this short clip!

Our team in SALEM-Togo made a special effort and created a banner for the purpose of greeting SALEM-friends.

Many thanks for this and for all the photos and news from the projects!

We would like to join them: Merry Christmas - Joyeux Noël - Feliz Navidad and Счастливого Рождества! Here's to a happy and healthy new year 2023!

Some more Christmas greetings: music-making in SALEM-Ecuador, a ride through the snowy forest in SALEM-Höchheim, a funny Christmas gnome from Antonia from SALEM-Kovahl and much more:
