Honouring SALEM’s “good soul“
Today Ursula Müller, the wife of SALEM-founder Gottfried Müller and former managing director of SALEM, is celebrating her 80th birthday – a reason for us from SALEM to thank her for her tireless commitment during the last years and take a look back.
She met Gottfried Müller in 1963 and started to work for SALEM in the same year. Since then she always stayed at his side. In the following years she was very busy when SALEM got international. Not only her professional knowledge but also her talent for organization were required; villages were built in Uganda, Ecuador, Togo and Russia and aid programmes in many more countries followed.
With help and advice she wholeheartedly devoted herself to the service of SALEM and many of you met her as a dedicated leader of our guest house „Lindenhof Salem“ where she always made sure that all the guests in the Franconian Forest felt at home during all those years. Many got to know SALEM through her personal words.
Today Ursula Müller gratefully is looking back on her life’s work and to that of her late husband who died in 2009. We would like to say THANK YOU for everything that she has done for SALEM. If you wish to make her happy please donate for SALEM so that we will be able to continue to help those who cannot help themselves.
