SALEM – working worldwide for peace

This is Jonathan, three years old and just one of presently 31 children, youths and handicapped young adults living in the Childrens' Home of SALEM-Uganda. His mother's whereabouts are not known by her relatives, his father’s name is unknown. Jonathan was malnourished during the time of admission but is now a healthy boy, social and jolly.

On January 22, another important milestone was reached with the opening of the new building at SALEM-Hospital. Numerous visitors came to celebrate this event with us.

The malnutrition project, which is carried out in SALEM-Uganda, is changing the lives of many people in the region around the SALEM-village.

A new project will be launched at our training centre in SALEM-Togo from the beginning of next year. For the first time, people with no previous education will be able to start an apprenticeship at SALEM. The course will be offered…
