08.07.2015Up to now the children in the children’s home of SALEM-Uganda used to have their daily meals in the open air, next to the kitchen. However, during rainy seasons common meals were nearly impossible. So we decided to expand the kitchen by a covered extension.

One World Station SALEM

SALEM has been recognised as a focal point for global learning and has been awarded the title of One World Station.


SALEM-Russia was registered in 1997 in Zelenogradsk, Kaliningrad, as a non-governmental, non-profit welfare organisation. The aim of the project is to create a village for children and young people and an organic farm in Kaliningrad, Russia.

The project was approved and supported by regional councils, local communities and the media.
