3:1 for SALEM-Togo! The German Government supports our plans for a new tree nursery!
02.07.2010What joy! The German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development has awarded SALEM a grant of 35,000 Euros towards the cost of establishing a tree nursery in Togo. This will cover three quarters of the total costs, leaving a balance of 12,000 Euro for us to find. Alone, an impossible task, but together, we can do it!

She also needs a pair of sneakers for physical education classes. Just having old or dirty shoes and uniform means that her teachers will give her a poor grade. But Sandrina really is a good student! Sponsoring a child in Uganda SALEM-Uganda helps children and young people and this work is only possible thanks to the kindness of those who give money to fund this work. There is no government social welfare scheme in Uganda to help children in need of care and support. More
