The proceeds from the sale of our SALEM-calendars were first used to repair the washing machine in the children's village so that it is once again in working order and can do its rounds again in future.

In addition, an empty building was renovated and provided with an extension and a new roof.

One wing of the building was enlarged and divided into several smaller units. In future, girls aged 18 and over, who are still at school and have no family to visit during the vacations, will be able to live here. A new toilet and a new kitchen were installed and the veranda was raised.

In the other part of the house, a door was moved, a veranda added and shelves installed, as a pantry for the children's village is to be set up there. 

Thanks to your help, an empty, dilapidated building could be filled with life again.
